Responsibilities

Bid Managers at RM are required to:

  • Support Bid/No Bid decisions.
  • Manage bids through RM's governance process i.e. Permission to Bid and Submit, and quality reviews. 
  • Develop relationships and work with people across the organisation to develop a compelling and high quality proposal.
  • Bid writing is key.
  • Managing finance processes. 
  • Developing timelines for bids, taking into consideration other priorities across the business. 
  • Lead the creation of presentations and preparing attendees. 
  • Support lessons learned process.
  • Lead initial handover of bids following bid win. 
  • Support the Head of Bid Management with ad hoc duties. 

Experience

Essential

  • Bid writing experience.
  • Bid management experience.
  • Experience in writing against technical specifications. 
  • Ability to manage multiple bids at one time.

 

 

Desirable

  • Understanding of TUPE.
  • Experience writing bids/working with the UK education sector. 
  • Understanding of financial models. 
  • Project management understanding.
