Overview

Cloud Migration Engineer is responsible for the implementation of cloud projects.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

  • Project Implementation based on Azure, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace.
  • Plan and implement cloud-based systems for UK Schools.
  • Installation of cloud applications, migrating on-premises/Cloud data to the cloud and configuring cloud security services.

Mandatory Skills

  • Experience in implementation with Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace services.
  • Experience in Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune and cloud printing solutions.
  • Support, Migrate, and Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace.
  • Experience in migration of email systems and data using native/third-party applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of Cloud platform Administration (Azure / Google)
  • Troubleshoot/resolve escalated Help Desk issues relating to M365 / Google Workspace
  • Experience with Win2012R2 and later servers, Windows 10 and 11 clients.
  • Experience in e-discovery, litigation hold, and retention policies.
  • Experience in Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Identity protection
  • OneDrive/SharePoint/Teams support- troubleshooting
  • Advanced knowledge in PowerShell scripting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and hybrid configurations.
  • Experience in Virtualisation platform (VMWare, HyperV) including migration.

Desired Skills

 

  • Knowledge of DHCP and DNS.
  • Experience with Azure

Experience

Should be a Graduate with at least 7 - 9 years of work experience in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments.
