As our Workplace Administrator, you will fulfil a varied and busy role, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard. You will be proactive in ensuring continuous improvement of our administrative and office-based tasks. You will act as a key point of contact for queries in RMs Abingdon office and be able to direct them to the relevant support team. You will report to the Workplace Coordinator and will be part of the wider People and Culture Team.


Due to the nature of this role, you will be site based at our Head Quarters in Abingdon.


  • Administrative tasks including document creation, producing and using spend tracking documents, organising digital files.
  • Workplace KPI checks.
  • Raise purchase orders.
  • Collate invoice information.
  • Welcome new starters and give office inductions.
  • Greet visitors.
  • Manage door access control, produce and monitor access passes.
  • Sort, collate and distribute all post and parcels.
  • Log and record all mail transactions on appropriate trackers.
  • Arrange courier collections and deliveries.
  • Manage all meeting rooms and shared facilities.
  • Coordinate the catering for internal or external meetings of staff and visitors as required by the various departments.
  • Effectively procure and monitor the use of office supplies and stationery.
  • Communicate and oversee relationship with cleaners.
  • Manage guest WiFi access online portal.
  • Respond to incoming mailbox queries and action requests in a timely manner.
  • Other ad-hoc administrative and front of house tasks.


  • Must be service oriented with a client-focused approach to work, can solve problems, and be solutions focused.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Well organized, self-motivated, able to work on own initiative together with a hands-on approach.
  • Good MS Office skills (namely Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
  • A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning.
  • First responder (or willingness to attend training for fire marshall and first aider – including defib).
