The Role


The Sales Manager for Asia supports the business to achieve educational outcomes and commercial growth. Responsibilities include understanding the educational and commercial objectives of schools & groups within the region, setting and monitoring commercial targets, evaluating the impact of strategies, driving revenue growth through customer relationships, developing training programs, fostering a culture that values education for commercial growth, reporting on achievements, and managing a portfolio of schools and distributors.


The Sales Manager plays a crucial role in the International Division, towards the dual objectives of educational and commercial success. Their influence lies in understanding the nuanced needs of school groups & partners, the development of training programs that merge educational and commercial interests, and in their ability to report and manage a diverse portfolio, directly contributing to the region's overall success.



  • Sales & BDM: Work with local partners across the territory to implement sales & marketing strategies that will bring success to the business. Source, qualify & close new schools with the support of our local partners on the ground.
  • Strategy Alignment: Understand and meet educational and commercial goals. Ensure we are partnering with the right partners; work closely with partners to build solid Go To Market Strategies; and feedback internally to ensure that our overall divisional go-to-market strategy is aligned for success.
  • Setting and Monitoring Commercial Targets: Establishing and tracking financial goals & sales targets in line with educational partnerships. Ensuring forecasting for the region is monitored internally.
  • Evaluating Impact of Strategies: Assessing the effectiveness of implemented strategies on education and commerce. Rolling out new strategies where possible to achieve business growth.
  • Developing Customer Partnership Programs: Creating programs that integrate educational value with commercial success.
  • Cultural Development: Cultivating a culture that values education as a driver for commercial growth.
  • Reporting and Portfolio Management: Reporting on achievements and managing a portfolio of schools and distributors.


The role and its responsibilities can be expected to evolve across time.




You will have proven experience of:

  • Successful sales & business development experience in the Education sector. Preferably within the Asia region.
  • Experience in achieving financial targets in a business environment. Preferably an Education-focussed environment.
  • Strategic planning and motivational skills.
  • Proficiency in education sector, particularly in curriculum-aligned resource planning and sales.

You will be responsible for:

  • Circa 100 accounts and agreements
  • A market that covers 2,000 schools and nursery settings – via local partners.
