Overview

Sr. System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling 24x7 Service Desk & Monitoring Tasks (Voice & Floor support)
  • Advanced Skills on Desktop Administration
  • Advanced skills on MIcrosoft365 Administration
  • Advanced Knowledge in DHCP, DNS, Active Directory etc.
  • Advanced Knowledge in Server administration
  • Advanced Knowledge in LAN, WAN, Wireless Networking.
  • Liaising with the support teams in India & UK.
  • System administration of Linux systems and variants.
  • Monitoring and managing Servers and Networking devices.
  • Configure and manage monitoring tools Icinga, Zabbix, WhatsUp Gold
  • Basic knowledge of ServiceNow
  • ITIL foundation Certification/Training

 

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

  • 4-6 years of experience as System Administrator.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience in Windows Operating Systems.
  • Experience in Linux Operating Systems – Redhat, CentOS
  • Experience in Basic Server issues Troubleshooting
  • Experience in Basic Network Troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, WLAN etc.)
  • Excellent Communications

Desired Skills:

  • Advance skills on Windows Servers & Networking
  • Knowledge in Cloud Computing like Azure
  • Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts

Mandatory Soft Skill Requirement:

  • Excellent communication (Written & Verbal) and inter-personal skills.
  • Should be a team player & Good Attitude
  • Customer Oriented
  • Should be a quick learner with an eye for detail, ability to prioritize work
